Alexander Usyk crowned the undisputed boxing world champion in heavyweight for the second time after 2024.

The Ukrainian defeated the British Daniel Dubois after Ko in the fifth round on Saturday in the Wembley Stadium in London. Usyk dubis snatched the World Cup title of the IBF association and united it with his belts of the WBA, WBC and WBO.

“I thank Jesus. Thank you to my team. I thank Wembley,” said Usyk. For him it was the 24th victory in the 24th professional fight, Dubois received his third defeat in the 25th fight – and the second against USYK. The one had already conquered him by Ko in 2023. This year Usyk sent him to the ground with his characteristic left hook.

Already in May of the previous year, the 38-year-old brought together the titles of all four large associations when he defeated Tyson Fury. Shortly afterwards he had to hand in the IBF belt because he preferred a second duel with Fury to defense. Dubois was therefore appointed IBF world champion and Usyk also won the second fight against Fury in December.

How things are going on for Usyk is open. After his resignation, Fury is supposed to tread after a third showdown, and the German Emporkunstling Agit Kabayel (Bochum) also gives himself hopes for an early duel with USYK, as interim world champion of the WBC.
