The Ukrainian was a two-time amateur champion and was called up to the Ukraine Otamans team for the World Series of Boxing semi-professional competition. Vasyl Lomachenko and Oleksandr Usyk represented this before.
The Ukrainian boxing federation also regrets the death of the former professional: “We are sad to announce that the master of sport in the international boxing class, the champion of Ukraine, Oleg Prudky, died in a fight with the Russian occupiers.” The association expressed its condolences to the family and promised “eternal memories”.
