Gradus Kraus was the sky-high favorite for the European boxing title and has lived up to those expectations. The 24-year-old Ossenaar won on Saturday evening in Rotterdam against the German Rostam Ibrahim.
Gradus Kraus was the man most spectators came to Sports Center de Wilgenring in Rotterdam to see. The 24-year-old boxer from Oss is currently a sensation in boxing country by winning all his first eight professional matches, seven of which were by knockout. It was reason for the international boxing association IBF to let him fight for the European title.
Victory
Kraus, the son of former kickboxing champion Albert Kraus, was the big favorite for victory against Rostam Ibrahim in Rotterdam. The Ossenaar did not disappoint in the packed Rotterdam sports center and won in the second round. The European title has been won, but Kraus is determined to win the world title in the future.
