Boss who exposed ‘sick’ employee after dropping off flowers went too far with dismissal

The dismissal of a ‘sick’ employee who was exposed by a private detective caused a stir last year. The detective saw how the man, despite his twisted knee, walked a large dog in bath slips and stood on the football field. However, the employee is still proven right on appeal: the dismissal was not lawful.
