The PVV group in the Emmen municipal council is shrinking into one seat. Councilor Tommy Post has decided to stop. Because no successors are available, only Klaas Bosma party leader remains.
Post, who temporarily took over the tasks of Bosma at the beginning of last year, lays down his function because his role does not match his expectations and because of “personal circumstances”.
The next candidates on the electoral list now live outside the municipality and therefore cannot take the seat. As a result, the PVV remains represented with only one councilor in the Emmer city council.
