New Home Alone movie coming? “This is going to happen!”
Original Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin hinted at a possible new Home Alone movie during an interview. Film journalist Rick de Graaff outlines the possibilities in the Films & Series section and estimates the chances of a new film in the Home Alone series. Watch the entire episode here. The Home Alone films revolve around Kevin McCallister, who is accidentally forgotten at home when his family goes on vacation. In the first two films (1990, 1992), Kevin, played by Macaulay Culkin, has to defend his house against clumsy burglars. After Culkin’s departure, four more films were made with other leading actors, but they are generally considered less good. A remake, Home Sweet Home Alone, was released in 2021, which was also poorly received.
