Borussia Dortmund – security concerns: BVB postpones a trip to Israel

Dortmund (dpa) – Borussia Dortmund is postponing its trip to Israel, which was planned for the end of the season. According to information from the German Press Agency, security concerns have grown at the club in the past few days.

There were also organizational problems that could not be resolved in the short time available. At least three people were killed in a new attack east of Tel Aviv on May 5. A wave of terror in Israel has killed 14 people since the end of March.

Originally, the Bundesliga runners-up wanted to play a friendly against five-time national champion Maccabi Netanya (May 17) and visit the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial during his stay from May 15th to 18th. A new date is now being sought.
