The three most expensive sales in the history of Sparta Prague have so far been only to Germany. Now Martin Vitík moves to FC Bologna to Italy and does not cost as much as Adam Hlozek (2022 to Leverkusen) and less than Tomas Rosicky (2001 to BVB), but more than Tomas Cvancara (2023 in Gladbach). The Bundesliga team in Sparta history has therefore been broken, although the central defender was also an issue last year in the German Oberhaus.
Vitík costs the Italians a transfer fee of 11 million euros. The market value of the 22 -year -old central defender had also dropped to this amount in mid -June. He had reached his maximum in September last year with 15 million. “Vitík is a great defender, fast, strong, also only 21 years old, but already very experienced,” said market value admin “Juanja”, explained the upgrading in autumn, which is lifted by Vitík to the top of the Czech league. But the demand in winter, after there had been rumors about the interest of TSG Hoffenheim, seemed to be left out. The market value of the five -time international was corrected downwards. Now Bologna hit at the corresponding price.
In the past season, Vitík, as in the previous season, was part of the regular staff of his training club, and again he was able to score a few goals. Four goals in the past two seasons made him one of the most accurate central Czech Republic in this period. In a total of 155 professional games, Vitík stood on the field with the Iron Service after his youth. In Bologna he is the third and most expensive new addition for the upcoming season.
