Bodybuilder dies with his son while driving

He became known as a bodybuilder and street artist. Now Mark Taylor died at the age of just 50.
The Australian bodybuilder and street artist Mark Taylor, known as “Meataxe”, died at the age of 50. As the Australian TV broadcaster 7news reports, Taylor suffered a medical emergency on Saturday evening when he was about to bring his five-year-old son to a birthday party.
Witnesses discovered the athlete in his car and immediately alerted the emergency services. Despite immediate resuscitation measures, Taylor died on site. According to media reports, he had no known previous illnesses, the exact cause of death has so far been unclear. As a close family friend 7news reports, Taylor is said to have felt sick before.
Taylor leaves his wife Renée, who was over three hours away at the time of death, as well as four children aged 15, 14, 10 and 5 years. The couple had celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary only a few days before his death.
In order to support the family financially, a donation campaign was launched on the “Gofundme” internet platform. Around 28,000 euros have already been raised there.
In addition to his career as a bodybuilder, Taylor was also known as a street artist. His works often showed famous athletes such as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. He also operated a nutritional supplement with his wife and worked as a tattoo artist.
