The rematches of the last 16 round play-off matches in the UEFA Champions League started with the matches played on the evening of February 24. The most striking result of the night came from the Inter-Bodo/Glimt match. The Norwegian team won the first match of the match 3-1 at home and made its name to the last 16 by winning the match played at San Siro Stadium 2-1.

While the first half of the match ended with a goalless draw, in the 58th minute, Jens Petter Hauge opened the goal curtain for the guest team and put his team ahead 1-0. At minute 72, Hakon Evjen shook the net and increased the difference to 2. Although Inter showed signs of life with Alessandro Bastoni in the 76th minute, they could not achieve the impossible and the winner of the match was Bodo/Glimt with a total score of 5-2.

Thus, the Norwegian representative, with a squad value of 57 million euros, defeated the Serie A giant, which had a squad value of 666 million euros. Inter is also the leader in Serie A with 64 points, ahead of its closest follower, Milan.

Bodo/Glimt’s opponent in the last 16 will be Manchester City or Sporting.
