Bundesliga surprise becomes “coach of the year”

Mainz 05 is currently really mixing up the Bundesliga with coach Bo Henriksen. The trainer was now given a special honor.
Bo Henriksen has been voted the best coach in his home country for the first time. The 50-year-old from FSV Mainz 05 received the award as a Denmark “coach of the year”.
Henriksen had managed to stay with the Bundesliga club last season. In the current season, he and his team take attention again: Mainz is in third place after a strong start to the season-and is therefore on Champions League course.
The choice of coaches of the year takes place through the voices of trainers of the highest Danish women and men’s leagues as well as by Danish trainers abroad.
In a message from the association, Henriksen was cited with the words that he was “very, very grateful to be a coach of the year”. For the past 20 years he describes as a “wild and funny journey”. In addition to the goals in his life, it is time to make a name for yourself, win a few games and to give people around.
