Dow Jones-The Tax revenue of the German State (without municipal taxes) in January was almost 9 percent above the level of the previous year. As the Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF) announced, the increase was particularly due to higher federal taxes. The volume of community taxes, which make up most of the tax revenue, increased by 4 percent in the annual perspective.
“A continued increase in the amount of the compensation tax on interest and sale income as well as growth in the income from the assessed income tax and the wage tax was a decline in taxes from the tax, the unreasonable taxes from the yield and corporate tax,” explained the BMF .
The income from country taxes was a good 20 percent higher than in the same month. The income from the real estate transfer tax at around 1.2 billion euros was slightly higher than last, which corresponds to an increase of 25 percent compared to the weak last year. The income tax revenue rose by 2 percent.
