The international boardsport and lifestyle specialist Blue Tomato, based in Schladming, Austria, is expanding its rental service. The new “Rent Your Ride” offer is now available through selected stationary stores in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands in addition to online trading. A total of 14 shops have started with the rental service. It includes a large selection of boards for women, men and children as well as the associated equipment.
“We see a high demand from our customers, especially for snowboards in the ‘rent instead of buy’ segment, and thus also the corresponding market potential. This segment is often neglected in classic ski rental – especially when customers want to rent snowboards in top condition with good advice. With Rent Your Ride we want to offer our customers the opportunity to try out the latest snowboards for hire, ”explains Jürgen Kranabitl, Director of Business and Process Development at Blue Tomato.
If you prefer to assemble and rent the products via the online shop, you can pick up the equipment in any shop in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands or have it sent to your home. They can also be returned in the shop or by return shipment.
