Significant drop in profits from energy giant Vattenfall despite 30% increase in turnover
Energy supplier Vattenfall has increased its turnover by 30% in its first quarter to SEK 59.5 billion (€5.8 billion). Profits fell sharply: from 10.4 billion Swedish krona to 6.1 billion, partly due to the ‘record prices’ that it has to pay for purchased raw materials.
