Blokker wants to open seven new stores in Brabant before the summer. The store makes a restart after the company was declared bankrupt in the autumn of 2024. A number of branches already continued as a franchise, but there are now seven branches.
Blokker had nearly four hundred branches at the time of the bankruptcy, which closed on December 31 after a sale. About 45 franchise filials of this remained open, including a store in Gemert, Eersel and Berlicum. But there are now seven more: in Helmond, Son, Uden, Raamsdonksveer, Den Bosch, Breda/Moerwijk and Raamsdonkveer.
Blokker has now set out the vacancies for Personnel for the total of 37 new branches in the Netherlands. The intention is that they will be opened this summer. Last month the chain on social media already published an image with the text ‘There is something beautiful’. Blokker uses an old logo again.
