The demolition work of the old viaduct over the Paterswoldseweg will start in mid-May. Until the end of June, the underpass will have to be closed a few times to all traffic.
Since the end of March, traffic on the ring road has been driving over the new viaduct on Paterswoldseweg. This viaduct is built on the north side. There is no longer any traffic on the old south side.
The demolition work can cause nuisance and vibrations in the immediate vicinity. The underpass is completely closed to traffic at the following times:
- June 3 07:00 AM to June 4 10:00 PM;
- June 7, 7:00 AM to June 13, 7:00 PM;
- June 10, 10:00 PM to June 13, 6:00 AM.
The cycle paths are closed at the following times:
- May 24 07:00 AM to May 25 07:00 PM;
- May 30, 7:00 AM to May 31, 7:00 PM;
- May 31, 7:00 a.m. to June 1, 7:00 p.m.
