US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken invited his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov to hold a meeting in Europe next week. He announced this at a meeting of the UN Security Council.
Blinken said that he had sent a corresponding letter to Lavrov. According to the Secretary of State, these talks may pave the way for a meeting between the leaders of the two countries.
