The singer of the band Blind Channel became sensitive to reminiscing about his teenage years on social media.
The Blind Channel band will perform on Thursday evening at the Helsinki Ice Hall. Vocalist Joel Hokka shared nostalgic photos from the band’s early days on his own Instagram account.
Attention is especially drawn to Joel’s hair, which is a little shorter than today. The musician writes in his update how long the journey has been for the band to reach big arenas.

Blind Channel became very popular in 2021, when the band participated in the New Music competition. The band from Oulu won with a song Dark Sidewith which they represented Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam.
The group collected the most phone votes in the semi-final. In the final on Saturday evening, Finland finally finished sixth.
After the Eurovision, the band said that they had experienced the negative aspects of publicity. They are especially expected to be role models.
