Frank Boeijen played the tenth edition of FestiValderAa with his band at the Brink in Zuidlaren. Hundreds of visitors, who were clearly looking forward to it, got exactly what they expected from Boeijen.
FestiValderAa, with Schipborg as its home base, made a trip to Zuidlaren for this second anniversary. That is why, prior to the performance, there were also two mayors on stage for a short word: Marcel Thijssen van Tynaarlo and Anno Wietze Hiemstra van Aa en Hunze.
With retiring festival director Henk Jongebloed, who took a symbolic step back on the spot for his successor, Vanja van Guldener.
After Frank Boeijen, performances were on the agenda of the Noordpool Orkest with the danceable regional language program Dancing on the Border with five female singers, and a closing by the band De Baron.
