“Her life stopped abruptly. Mine is broken. Anke was the love of my life and we wanted children so badly,” says Bjorn Van Malderen (27), the friend of Anke Robrecht (27) from Buggenhout, the supervisor who died in the collision between a train and a school bus in the Belgian town. “She really shouldn’t have been on that bus that day, but filled in for a colleague who had just stopped.”
