The small plane made an emergency landing at a railroad crossing in Los Angeles due to technical problems and ended up on the track, police said. The footage shows officers pulling the bloodied pilot out of the cockpit. A few seconds later, the train hits the plane.
The pilot is in the hospital. His condition is stable, the local newspaper LA Times reported. No one else was injured.
