Nagelsmann threatens personnel in defense

Julian Nagelsmann’s squad planning is under pressure. A few weeks before the final Four, several defenders fail.
If the German national team takes up its preparation for the Nations League in Herzogenaurach on May 30, a player will be missing who was recently there as a supplementary force: Yann Bisseck. The 24-year-old is with Inter Milan in the final of the Champions League.
The final will take place on May 31st in the Munich Allianz Arena-a day after the DFB training start. A timely arrival of the central defender is therefore excluded.
The young defender has not yet been one of the forces in the squad of national coach Julian Nagelsmann. But on the defensive, the contingent for the start of the Final Four tournament of the Nations League will be weakened.
Nico Schlotterbeck is not available due to injury, and there are also question marks with Antonio Rüdiger: the central defender has undergone knee surgery. It remains unclear whether he is ready for use until the semi -finals. Jonathan Tah and Robin Koch remain from the squad of the last international break.
Germany meets Portugal in the semifinals – playing is played in Munich. If the team moves into the final, France or Spain would be the opponent. The final will be held on June 8, again in Munich.
