German shoe retailer Birkenstock has expanded its presence in France. On Tuesday the company opened a new store in Bordeaux.
Birkenstock now has over 30 stores in Europe. The new opening marks “a strategic milestone in the brand’s European retail expansion,” the company said in a statement.
At Cours de l’Intendance 58 in the center of the historic old town of the southwestern French metropolis, Birkenstock now offers its classic shoe models as well as the current collections, seasonal designs such as the waterproof EVA collection, shoe care products, accessories and the skin care products from its Care Essentials line.
