Bird flu was diagnosed at a laying company in the municipality of Barneveld on Friday morning. It is probably the worst variant. More than 34,000 chickens from the laying company on the Peppelseweg are culled to prevent contamination. Seven other poultry farms within a 1 kilometer radius of the farm are also being culled.
