Bird flu at poultry farm in Barneveld, tens of thousands of chickens culled

Bird flu has been diagnosed at a poultry farm with laying hens in Barneveld, Gelderland. To prevent further spread of the virus, the company’s approximately 34,000 chickens are being culled. Since seven surrounding companies are also being cleared as a precaution, that number will increase.
