1.5 million euros in tax money cost the archaeological investigation in the renovation of the Binnenhof to date, reports the Central Government Real Estate Agency. Tens of thousands of archaeological treasures have now been found. It appears that the Binnenhof was already a huge complex during the Middle Ages.
