The billionaire rapper, who legally changed his name to Ye West, claimed on the Drink Champs podcast series that George Floyd would have died of a fentanyl overdose and not as a result of police brutality.

Now the mother of Floyd’s daughter has sued the star for $250 million.

Now Floyd’s daughter Gianna Floyd is looking for his mother together Roxie Washington with justice for the rapper’s false claims that the artist has made in public.

Family lawyer Kay Harper Williams says that such false claims have harmed the young child and he has had to relive the traumatic experiences. In addition, West’s comments undermine the legal system.

– When a court verdict is questioned in this way by a public figure, it puts our entire legal system under scrutiny and at the same time also democracy, the lawyer explains.

West has established a fund bearing Gianna Floyd’s name to secure her daughter’s schooling. The rapper himself contributed two million dollars of his own money to start the fund.

West’s anti-Semitic comments have drawn widespread criticism and he has also been removed from several of his social media accounts.
