Billie Eilish reveals in her annual Vanity Fair interview that she’s in a relationship with The Neighborhood singer Jesse Rutherford. So far, the two had shown themselves publicly, but had not explicitly commented on their relationship. Most recently, Eilish and Rutherford appeared in partner looks at the LACMA Art + Film Gala.
In the interview, Eilish says that Rutherford inspires her and that she is overjoyed. She couldn’t believe that the “hottest guy ever” is with her.
The 20-year-old also opened up about her ex-relationship with actor Matthew Tayler Vorce: “I’m very grateful for the relationship I was in last year and I think he’s a lot happier now – which makes me happy.”
Billie Eilish has been working on her own songs with her brother Finneas O’Connell since 2015. Four years later she released her debut album WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?. Its successor HAPPIER THAN EVER was released in 2021. Since 2017, Vanity Fair has been producing a video questionnaire with her every year. Eilish is asked the same 28 questions. At the end, her mother always makes a small appearance.
