Billie Eilish is working on a new album

Billie Eilish’s second album was released at the end of July 2021. “Happier Than Ever” was associated with a drastic change in image for the now 20-year-old. The gloomy indie kid in tent clothes became a rockabilly brat.

Eilish will come of age in the US on December 18, 2022, and will therefore officially be able to have a beer in a bar in the Bible Belt, where the regulations for “minors” are particularly strict.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter revealed she’s working on a new album with her brother Finneas.

When asked if she’s worked with her brother recently, Eilish said:

“We see each other all the time and now we’re starting to make music again. We’ve just started making an album, which is really exciting.”

And further: “Currently we have planned days where we see each other, which is really nice because he is part of my life. I spend a lot of time with him. He’s my buddy!’

Charity and tour business for Billie Eilish

Elsewhere, Eilish, who retired from the spotlight for a while over the summer of 2022, is back in business. She attended the eleventh “Lacma Art & Film Gala” at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on November 5, 2022. In addition to the music sessions, there is also time for representation.

Later this week (December 3-4), Eilish will perform at the second edition of Prince William’s Earthshot Prize Awards. At this gala, the singer meets co-hosts Clara Amfo and Daniel Dae Kim. Music stars in London include Annie Lennox, Ellie Goulding and Chloe x Halle. The closing speech will be given by conservationist pope Sir David Attenborough (96).

The Earthshot Prize is awarded to five people who each receive a million pounds. This should give a prominent boost to projects that promote green innovations. The BBC will broadcast the awards ceremony live on tape on Sunday (4 December).

Eilish also announced two new live dates for her “Happier Than Ever” tour to her American fans. She is playing in her hometown of Los Angeles on December 15th and 16th, 2022.
