Billie Eilish announced at her final performance of her sold-out world tour that there would be a concert film. The film is scheduled to open in cinemas in March 2026.
End of tour with a surprise
The singer wrapped up the sold-out Hit Me Hard And Soft Tour on Sunday, November 23rd at the Chase Center in San Francisco. The 23-year-old had a surprise in store for almost 20,000 fans – rumors about it had been circulating online for months.
The Grammy winner introduced the trailer for the tour’s cinematic narrative by saying she’s “glad, happy and grateful that we get to experience this show forever.” The work is entitled “Hit Me Hard And Soft – The Tour (Live in 3D)” and was created in collaboration with Oscar winner James Cameron.

Shows in Manchester as a basis for films
In July 2025, the two-time Oscar-winning songwriter gave the first hints about the film project, which was already in full swing at the time. She told the audience from the stage: “Actually, I can’t say much about it, but I can reveal that I’m working on something very special with someone called James Cameron, and it’s going to be in 3D. Take that as you will, and these four shows here in Manchester, you and I, are part of something I’m doing with him. He’s here in the audience somewhere, just on the side.” During these appearances, the star was accompanied by a camera team.
The tour for her third studio album of the same name started in April 2024 in Quebec, Canada and lasted a good year. In this context, the artist also visited Germany: she came to Hanover, Berlin and Cologne for four concerts.
It remains unclear whether the concert film will later be included in streaming offers.
