After Billie Eilish has fed her fans with singles for the past three years, they can soon look forward to a new album. The singer has in one Instagram-Post announced that the next record is in the can. However, further details about the release date, the title and a first single are currently missing.

“My album is finished,” reports Billie Eilish, showing a series of pictures of herself wearing a ski mask and windbreaker. We’re talking about their third LP – the successor to HAPPIER THAN EVER (2021). The fans are celebrating the news in the comments column, but there is nothing more than speculation about the release date.

Overcome writer’s block?
Eilish most recently contributed the song “What Was I Made For?” to Greta Gerwig’s satirical comedy “Barbie”. In December 2023, the 22-year-old explained why she feels particularly grateful for this assignment – she was in the middle of a writer’s block and doubted the future of her career. She explained: “I thank God for Greta, man. I was honestly worried it was over for me. I have to be honest with you. She saved me, really, honestly.” The “Bad Guy” singer now seems to have overcome her writer’s block.
