Billie Eilish joined Dave Grohl on stage at a concert in Inglewood, California last Thursday. Together they performed “My Hero” by the Foo Fighters in honor of drummer Taylor Hawkins.
Ahead of the song, Grohl said, “Earlier this year, all the Foo Fighters and our families gathered at my house to watch the Grammys. When Billie walked out to her performance in the Taylor Hawkins t-shirt… the room was filled with genuine tears of love and gratitude. Therefore, we would like to say a big thank you on behalf of our families.”
Hawkins passed away in Colombia in March 2022 while touring with the Foo Fighters. During the concert, Eilish also performed “Motion Sickness” with singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers.
