The federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia is not normally known for its “Wild Wild West” image. The rapper Billa Joe sees things a little differently and now puts NRW on the map of Germany as his figurehead. “Welcome to North Rhine-Westphalia, it’s also called the Wild West”, raps Billa Joe in the hook to his new single “NRW”, produced by Ghana Beats. The theme is crime and life in the hood. Check out the video clip for the single in the stream now:
The rapper is a signing along with Kozikoza, Geenaro, Ghana Beats and Melez of the “Scorpion Gang” from Mönchengladbach. The label was founded last year by German rapper Summer Cem. Billa Joe can also be heard on his label sampler CORPION2SOCIETY. Other tracks were also released under the “Scorpion Gang” banner. In 2021, the rapper started with the singles “Ice Cubes”, “Schutt es ein” and “Friendship”. Billa Joe promised a new mixtape entitled TRAPLIFE BALANCE. A date is not yet known.
