Biggest success in club history: Al-Seeb reaches the AFC Cup final

Clear victory against Al-Riffa

The first participant in the AFC Cup final has been determined. Reigning Omani double winners Al-Seeb continued the greatest winning streak in the club’s history. “Die Kaiser” from the north of the country comfortably won 4-0 against the reigning champions of Bahrain, Al-Riffa SC, on Tuesday evening. Player of the evening was once again international Abdul Aziz Al-Muqbali, who scored the opening goal in the 47th minute and set up the second goal for Ahmed Al-Siyabi, who had come on the pitch a minute earlier (62′).

Al-Riffa attacker Mohamed Marhoon then missed the goal from the point before Salah Al-Yahyaei (79′) and Ghanaian Cosmos Dauda (90’+2), who came on as a substitute shortly before the end, made everything clear. Al-Seeb will meet Sogdiana Jizzakh’s winner of the second semi-final against Kuala Lumpur City in the final on October 22nd.
