BIG kicks NNO out of League of Legends Prime Super Cup

In the German-speaking League of Legends tournament Prime Super Cup, BIG beat the streamer team No Need Orga 2-0. In the quarterfinals, BIG meets Gamerlegion.

“It was definitely a challenging series,” said jungler Jackson “Pabu” Pavone of BIG in a post-series interview. “No Need Orga is very good too. To a point where they are comparable to the higher ranked Prime League teams.”

In the Super Cup, teams from the first three divisions of the Prime League compete against each other. BIG went into the best-of-three series as clear favorites against NNO, who had been promoted to the first division of the Prime League after a successful relegation.

The first game was still even after 30 minutes, but in the end BIG kept their nerve and secured the opening win. After that, things didn’t go according to plan for NNO at all: BIG overran the promoted team and swept him off the field.

With the smooth 2:0, BIG is in the quarter-finals of the Super Cup. There, the Berlin team meets the Prime League champions of the spring season Gamerlegion.
