Eintracht Frankfurt wants to continue its high flight in the Europa League on matchday 6. With a win against French club Olympique Lyon (December 12th, 9:00 p.m.), the SGE is finally on course for the round of 16.
The Euro Eagles are now unbeaten in 18 consecutive games in the Europa League. The best eight teams in the league phase qualify directly for the round of 16, with a strong 13 points from five games, Dino Toppmöller’s team is well on its way to reaching the interim goal.
Bundesliga rivals TSG Hoffenheim still have to worry about progressing after five points from five games. In the home game against FCSB Bucharest (6:15 p.m.) a win is mandatory in order not to increase the gap to the playoff places.
