After an appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” fans are concerned about Tom Hanks’ health.
Tom Hanks was a guest on the Christmas episode of “Saturday Night Live” with host Jimmy Fallon that aired on Saturday (December 21st). But after the broadcast, fans were worried: His hands appeared to be shaking noticeably on the show, a typical sign of Parkinson’s disease, according to fans.
Care for Sketch
This year’s “SNL” Christmas special featured a whole host of Hollywood stars: Paul Rudd, Martin Short, Melissa McCarthy and Emma Stone were just a few of the celebrities who gave their best in the show’s famous sketches. Also there was 68-year-old Tom Hanks.
But especially during a sketch in which Martin Short is inducted into the Five Timers Club (a sort of exclusive club for those who have been lucky enough to have appeared on “SNL” five or more times) and which also featured Hanks, He didn’t seem very alert and, above all, his hands seemed extremely shaky.

On X (formerly Twitter), fans expressed their concern for the Oscar winner. “Do you see how his hands are shaking?” or “Was I the only one who noticed Tom Hanks shaking on SNL?” Does he have Parkinson’s disease?” were just a few of many comments under short clips of Hanks on “SNL.”
There was no reaction from the “Forrest Gump” actor to these speculations.
Already worried about Tom Hanks
But rumors about the actor’s health began circulating two years ago. At the “Elvis” premiere in Australia, in which he plays Presley’s manager Colonel Tom Parker, Hank’s hands seemed shaky during a speech. A doctor confirmed to the Daily Mail that the tremors could be a sign of Parkinson’s. Fans were already worried at the time. One wrote on X: “God forbid please let it be just adrenaline and excitement!”
