US President Gives First State of the Union
WASHINGTON – US President Joe Biden delivered his first State of the Union address on Tuesday evening (local time). In this ‘throne speech’ for members of Congress, the head of state sets out the main plans. Biden used the speech, among other things, to express his support for Ukraine and to unfold his economic plans. He lashed out several times at Russian President Vladimir Putin, whom he at one point called a “dictator.”
