The bicycle specialist shop Velodroom in Roden has been named Tweewielerwinkel of the Year 2022 today. Almost the entire workforce was present to receive the prize in Gorinchem.
In addition to the Roder bicycle shop, twenty other bicycle shops were nominated for the election, the results of which were announced during the Velovak bicycle trade fair.
Alex Kapma, owner of Velodroom, sees the award as a crown on the hard work of the entire team in recent years. “We see it all mainly as an encouragement to continue. We still have so many plans and ideas to do even better. I would almost say: we are just getting started.”
Velodroom, formerly called Bike Life Roden, tries to distinguish itself in the Northern Netherlands by, among other things, functioning as a club house and bicycle living room. “We promote the bicycle and cycling in all kinds of areas,” says Kapma.
