Norway’s top biathlete Ingrid Landmark Tindrevold sharply criticized the reporting on her and issued a devastating testimony to the media.
In the Norwegian Podcast “Big 5 Med Nils OG Harald”, the Norwegian biathlete Ingrid Landmark Teldrevold has defended herself to her person with clear words about the reporting of the media.
The 28-year-old said that she felt that she was in a “bladder”. “I don’t have the feeling that they see me as a person.” Instead, according to Tandrevold, the media are only concerned with “clickbait” and click -prone quotes for the headings.
Biathlon star would like to boycott media
Last season there was a moment after a bad race when her mother “jumped over three barriers to give me a hug,” said the Norwegian. “And the media say: ‘Tell us how terrible it is to be Ingrid’s mother’. At that moment I want to boycott it.”
Ultimately, however, she couldn’t get through to a boycott. “I don’t dare to do that. I just try to answer as boring as possible. But I can’t do that either. I am a lousy actress,” said Tankrevold, who has had an extremely difficult season in which she had to be operated on, among other things.
“I can’t stand it anymore”
In the meantime, they are already trying to no longer be themselves in interviews. “I can’t stand it anymore.” However, she couldn’t do that. “It is obvious that it doesn’t work, but I try to answer politically correct and boring,” explained Tangrevold.
The 28-year-old was the focus of reporting several times last season. Among other things, she made victims of severe hostility after giving up an unfortunate figure in the first race of the World Cup in Lenzerheide and put the Norwegian mixed relay behind with several penalty rounds. Tangrevold then published various hate news that they reached on social media.
