Between 2023 and 2024, 40.8 percent of the unemployed in Belgium remained unemployed, 31.3 percent found a job and 28.0 percent became non-professional (not available for work and/or not actively looking for work). This is evident on Tuesday from figures from Statistiebureau Statbel. With the people who were working during that period, 7.5 percent changed work, or around 350,000 workers.
