Bestseller invests 265 million euros in Dutch logistics center

Bestseller this week signed an agreement worth 2 billion Danish kroner (about 265 million euros) for a new logistics center in Lelystad, the Netherlands. It is the largest investment by the Danish fashion group to date. This officially confirms the plans for the logistics center that were announced last November.

“Sixty kilometers from Amsterdam, with access to the port, road and rail, it is ideally located to become a high-tech, sustainable logistics center serving the European markets,” the press release said of the site selection.

The group, which includes brands such as Jack & Jones and Vero Moda, will use the center to increase the capacity and flexibility of its supply chain and get closer to its “key customers and largest retail markets”. It is planned to hire around 500 people for the center. In November last year, Bestseller said that 250 people would be employed.

“As the center will be crucial to our growth, we want to start construction as soon as possible,” said Allan Kyhe Kjærgaard, logistics director at Bestseller.

The center is scheduled to open in 2026.
