Besiktas JK made the second most tax exit in the club history on Thursday – and can also achieve a record revenue. Midfielder Gedson Fernandes, with 18 million euros in market value in the squad only from record access Orkun Kökçü (24) with 30 million exceeded, moves to Russia to Spartak Moscow. The black eagles confirmed the financial details.

Accordingly, 20.78 million euros will flow for Fernandes. The two-time Portuguese international among the most expensive Besiktas exits is part of the second place behind Cenk Tosun (34). The former Frankfurt youth player switched to FC Everton in 2017/18 for 22.5 million euros. However, Fernandes can still clearly beat its record: According to Bonuses, a further 7.3 million euros-exactly 7,272,729-can increase through bonuses.

Fernandes changed to Turkey for the first time in February 2021, at that time Besiktas’ Istanbul city rival Galatasaray borrowed the talent for four months from his youth club Benfica. A year later, Caykur Rizespor did the lion, and BJK struck in the summer of 2022. The Black eagles paid 16 million euros to the Lisboners for the U17 European champion in 2016. Since then, Fernandes has been on the pitch in 131 games, scored 18 goals and 16 templates. For no club he laced his shoes more often, in 2024 he won the Turkish trophy and a little later the Supercup.

For Spartak, Fernandes is even the most expensive access in club history. This rank had been in the UFA competitions that had been excluded from UEFA competitions since the Russian attack war since February. The national player Trinidad & Tobagos came from AEK Athens for 18.7 million euros. On the departure side, striker Manfred Ugalde (23) has been associated with a change of million to Europe for weeks.
