Matteo goes to Rotterdam, then he reaches Jannik Sinner in Doha. Lorenzo, on the other hand, returns to the red earth before landing in Acapulco
Italtennis never stops. After the Australian Open and the meeting at the Quirinale with Sergio Mattarella to celebrate the recent successes (Bjk Cup and Davis Cup above all), the blue tennis players are ready to leave and return to the field. In a dense calendar of appointments such as the tennis, the possibilities are many and different, but the aim is common to everyone: prepare the two next major events of the circuit, that is, the US 1000 Masters of Indian Wells and Miami. Everyone, however, made their own choice. Matteo Berrettini, the undisputed protagonist at the Quirinale, decided to insist and play on concrete; Lorenzo Musetti opts for America and for his beloved red land.
Berrettini like Sinner

Matteo’s program for February is not so different from Sinner’s. He chooses the indoor concrete and returns to the field in the ATP 500 of Rotterdam, scheduled from 3 to 9 February: tournament which, originally, also included the presence of the altitude. Jannik and Matteo will instead find themselves in Doha, another ATP 500 (17-22 February). A tournament that is not easy for The Hammer because of a very rich entry list: in addition to the number one, Alcaraz, Djokovic, Medvedev and a good part of the Top 10 were present. Last stop before the discovery of America is Dubai: from 24 to 1 March another 500. All level tournaments for the blue who wants to return to the top: the goal is the top 10, which he has been missing since June 2022.
Musets in America

Lorenzo does not wait for the last minute to travel to the American continent. After the celebration of the blue successes, including his bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics, he immediately starts towards the first stage: ATP 250 of Buenos Aires (10-16 February). Musetti, unlike Berrettini, chooses the red earth of South America, as the finalist of the last Australian Open Sascha Zverev, and Holger Rune also do. After Argentina, here is Brazil: the first ATP 500 in Rio de Janiero, scheduled from 17 to 23 February, always on Red Land. Muso closes his February returning to play on concrete. He approaches Indian Wells and flies to Acapulco (from February 24) for another 500 tournament, the last before the first 1000 season.
Others

Cobolli makes a mix between the programming of Berrettini and that of Musetti: he begins in Rotterdam and ends up in Acapulco, before Indian Wells. Even Sonego in Rotterdam, then at the ATP 250 in Marseille (10-16 February) and finally the 500 Doha brace (it is on the qualifications of qualifications for now) and Dubai. Arnaldi, like Musetti, chooses the Americas: the ATP 250 of Dalla (3-9 February), then Delray Beach (10-16 February) and finally to Acapulco.
