Bernd Storck joins the Romanian first division club. The former coach of the Hungarian national team signed a working paper until the end of this season with an option to extend. The 60-year-old most recently worked for KV Kortrijk in Belgium.
Storck is only the third German coach in Romania and follows Ewald Lienen in 2013/14 and Michael Weiß in 2014/15, who were both under contract with SC Otelul Galati. Storck will make his debut on the 18th matchday of the SuperLiga on Monday in the home game against Dinamo Bucharest, which has just installed Croatian Zeljko Kopic as its new coach. The former Cottbus player Ovidiu Burcă had to leave, who resigned from his position last week after eleven games without a win for the capital city team.
