missed the European Cup
Bernd Storck will be leaving the Belgian first division club KRC Genk after just six months. As the club announced on Sunday, the farewell was by mutual consent. The 59-year-old only started working for the 2019 champion last December.
As table eighth in the Jupiler Pro League, Genk had qualified for the second playoff group, but missed out on entering the Conference League there. For Storck, who also coached the Hungarian national team between 2015 and 2017, it was the third stop in Belgium. He previously worked at Royal Excel Mouscron and Cercle Brugge.
