Youngster “didn’t hesitate”

Benfica Lisbon has signed an Argentine talent, Gianluca Prestianni, for his 18th birthday. The offensive youngster comes from Vélez Sarsfield and will receive a long-term contract with coach Roger Schmidt’s team until 2029. According to reports, the transfer fee will be 9 million euros.
“I am very happy to play for such a big club like Benfica. It’s a dream to play in Europe and even more so for this great club. When the news reached me, I didn’t hesitate,” Prestianni is quoted as saying.
