The height of a number of benefits will be adjusted on 1 July 2025.
It’s about the:
- Participation Act;
- Income provision for older and partially disabled unemployed employees (IOAW) Act;
- Income Provision for Older and partially disabled Former Self -Employed (IOAZ);
- General Old Age Act (AOW);
- General Surviving Relatives Act (ANW);
- Work and labor support of the young disabled people (Wajong);
- Unemployment Act (WW);
- Work and Income Act to work capacity (WIA);
- Disability Insurance Act (WAO);
- Sickness Benefits Act (SW);
- Surcharges Act (TW).
The increase in these benefits is because these benefits are linked to the statutory minimum wage.
The minimum wage will rise from 1 July 2025 of derived € 14.0 per hour (with a 36-hour working week) to € 14.40 per hour.
The minimum youth wages will also be revised on 1 July 2025. They rise by the same percentage. Moreover, child benefit is increased in line with the development of consumer prices.
