Bellingham concedes Musiala record: Youngest player with 50 Bundesliga victories

TM database

The most valuable player in the Bundesliga overtook the second most valuable player in another statistic last weekend: Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham celebrated his 50th victory in the German top flight in his 81st game against Hertha BSC – no player in the history of the competition was younger when it reached this mark than the Englishman. Bayern’s Jamal Musiala had previously occupied the top spot in this ranking.

Last November, when the record champions beat Werder Bremen at home, he broke the 50-victory mark – at the age of 19 years, eight months and 13 days. Bellingham undercut the German international by 20 days and was 19 years, 7 months and 21 days old when he came on as a substitute against Hertha. In the top 10 ranking of the youngest players with 50 Bundesliga victories, there are only two other professionals, including Bayern’s Alphonso Davies, who are currently active in the league – all the others are now playing abroad, with Uli Hoeneß there is only one Players whose career ended long ago.
