On Tuesday, Belgium took over command of the European maritime mission EMASOH in the Strait of Hormuz, a strait between the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman. A team of eight soldiers, led by Fleet Admiral Tanguy Botman, will take on that role for four months. This is reported by the Ministry of Defence.
